Love the Transkei

I love the old Transkei. There is just something about the land, people and culture.

Spending time on the unspoilt beaches and admiring the unspoilt landscapes , one comes feeling rather relaxed and enriched knowing that only God can create such beauty. On a recent trip to I manage to get the following images:

    I love the images you took,they are breath taking,I tell people that if they want to see the face of God they must visit the Transkei , I love the landscape as far as I’m that’s the reachest place in the south,the air is so light,pure and clean,I wish to spend the last days of my being in that place,thanx for the website,I am Xhosa living in bloemfontein but my heritage is in the eatern cape thou I don’t know how to practice the culture but I’m proud

      Thank you for your kind words. The Transkei is a beautiful place, unspoilt beauty. Only God can create such beauty and I love the culture of the people. Let’s pray that it never changes!
