Cassie and Jason Exchange Vows at Palm Manor
Cassie and Jason exchange vows at Palm Manor on the Kwazulu Natal South Coast.
Love – A feeling that goes beyond almost all sense of physicality. To love is to feel such a strong feeling for another that you can understand them in a way few can.
The love between these two is so special. I know how one can be overcome with emotion (I am quite an emotional being myself) but when Jason saw Cassie and when he exchanged vows, the love he has for Cassie brought tears to his eyes. I am sure a few guests also choked up.
Cassie and Jason met in 2013 at church. For Cassie it was love at first sight. Cassie did not frequent youth meetings but after being introduced to Jason, who was a new youth leader, she decided that attending youth was very important. (LOL). Cassie, a graphic designer, was asked to design artwork for the youth club and had to work closely with Jason. That’s when the relationship between these two started to develop into more than just friends.
Having only known Jason for a few hours, I got to know that he is filled with emotion quite quickly, so when Cassie told me how he proposed, I can just picture the scene.
Jason, knowing how important family is to Cassie, asked Cassie’s parents if he could propose to her at a family braai. On the night of the get together, Cassie had no knowledge what was going to happen. The family was all gathered around the fire when Perfect by Ed Shereen started playing.
Jason had snuck into the house, put the song on and walked back out to Cassie carrying a bunch of flowers and chocolates. Jason’s eyes teared up as he got down on one knee and asked Cassie the question. And of course, she said yes.
Cassie and Jason, you two are perfect. I loved spending the time with the two of you and your love for each other is infectious. It was an honour to capture these amazing memories for you.
