Located close to the Oribi Gorge Nature Reserve in Kwazulu-Natal, the Barry Porter Memorial Vulture Viewing Hide is a highlight on the local tourist route. Riverbend Crocodile Farm is situated in Southbroom on the South Coast of KwaZulu Natal.
The farm was officially opened on the 24th November 1981 and having celebrated its 30th Birthday in 2011 the farm has grown and has now hosted more than 2 million visitors establishing itself as one of KwaZulu Natal’s major tourist attractions.
Home to some of the world’s best water rides, Wild Waves Water Park at Wild Coast Sun offers thrill-seekers a wide selection of adrenalin-pumping slides including the Aqualoop, Superbowl, Boomerango and two steep body slides. With an exciting assortment of water slides to choose from, there’s something for everyone at Wild Coast Sun Water Park.
Visitors to the estate can sample coffee and purchase the range of freshly roasted Beaver Creek coffee and other coffees of the world. The estate also offers visitors a daily crop to cup tour that outlines the distinctive flavours of the worlds coffee regions and the processes involved in creating the perfect cup. The Estate Cafe serves delicious meals and a range of freshly roasted coffee all day.
This is KZN South Coast’s most unique geographic formations and the smallest desert in the world at only 200m in diameter. The desert consists of red soil beneath which has been found archaeological artefacts dating back millions of years.

A large lake shaped like the eland common in bushman paintings gives the reserve its name “Lake Eland” in honour of this magnificent antelope and its symbolic meaning to the San. This natural landscape is truly a place of peace and tranquility and can be found just a quick 40 minutes drive from Port Shepstone, South Coast of KwaZulu Natal.

One of KwaZulu-Natal's most spectacular natural settings, the scenic Oribi Gorge Nature Reserve lies some 25 km inland from Port Shepstone. The Reserve lies snugly at the head of a magnificent river gorge lined with dense coastal bush and forests.
